a mandatory study abroad blog in college turned into a permanent way of thinking for me; approaching every day and every place with a curiosity for connection and meaning
Hi! I’m Christina.
I’ve always been a pro at finding meaning in the little things (read: overthinking). As I navigate life as a young professional, writing provides the creative outlet I need to balance out my days.
A solo cruise around the Mediterranean in 2023 reignited my passion for experiencing places through the often overlooked details. Traveling helps me find the intersection of happiness and fulfillment; a moment of joy for new observations and reflection on all the growth I’ve experienced to get myself there.
Placed in Detail is all about the moments that don’t necessarily make it onto the itinerary. The conversations, observations, unexpected detours, and everyday happenings that somehow become the things we remember most.
Whether you’re planning your next adventure, reminiscing about your last one, or simply someone who has a tendency to find meaning in things that probably didn’t need that much meaning attached to them… welcome. You’re in the right place.
